I love being a small business owner. Running Monarch Strategies LLC has brought me incredible joy since I founded it in February of 2022. But, I miss the collaboration possible in a larger employer. I often say today that AI is my thinking partner and that’s true.

As I approached the August of Automation series, I knew that I would have at least one article about artificial intelligence — and specifically LLMs. I’ve let a lot of this series unfold as I’ve explored and used tools this month. And, this week in my life outside of the series has been an excellent example of a few of the many ways I use ChatGPT specifically to get work done more quickly. So, I decided I’d focus today on a few of these examples.

What AI Tools Do I Use?

Predominantly, I’m using ChatGPT and Google Gemini. I like both of these for ease of use and simplicity of introducing them to new people. I’ve done one workshop in my community on getting started with AI and plan to do some more over the next few months. I also use Midjourney for image creation. I also have to give a shout out to all of the “Magic Studio” tools inside of Canva. For image creation this is also a must for me. The image at the top of today’s article was created using Canva’s built in AI tools.
