Getting Ready for the Readwise Reader Public Beta — Adding Email Addresses to your Readwise Account

Readwise Reader isn’t quite out yet (as of the writing of this article)

Readwise’s Reader is about to move from Private, Invite Only Beta to a Public Beta. While the official date has not yet been released, there are some things that, as an existing Readwise user, you can do to get ready to make the most out of Reader as soon as you get access to it.

Readwise has always allowed you to submit items by email, but a lot of folks don’t use that feature. With reader, I forward LOADS of things directly from my inbox to reader so that I can get them out of my inbox and give them their proper due in a read it later app. You’ll have some specific features you can use to do that with Reader that we’ll cover as soon as it’s released to the public. But, for now, let’s get your email addresses update so that you can forward to reader from any email account you use.

1. Log in to Readwise at https://readwise.io.
2. Click the Dashboard button if needed so that you get to your main Readwise configuration screen. It looks like this.
