The Obsidian Vault Rebuild — Creating the New Vault

I am rebuilding my Obsidian Vault from the ground up.

Let’s Get Started

I won’t assume much in this series, but I will assume you’ve already downloaded and installed Obsidian.

With Obsidian installed, it’s time to create a new vault. Before you create a new vault, you need to think about two things:
1) What will you name the vault
2) Where will you store the vault

The Vault Name

If you don’t name inanimate objects then the vault name you pick probably won’t mean that much to you. However, I name inanimate objects all the time.
- My car is Kate
- My freezer is Prince Ali
